STEP 1 Placing and connecting the charging station
Place the charging station on level ground centrally in the main area with a large free area in front of it, and tap the pegs through the holes in the base plate to secure it to the ground.
Connect the low voltage cable to the charging station and the transformer, and connect the transformer's power cord to a 230 V wall socket.

STEP 2 Laying out the boundary wire
Place the boundary wire approximately 30 cm from the edge of the lawn and secure the cable to the lawn with staples. Within a few weeks, the cable will be completely overgrown and invisible.
The boundary wire must lie close to the ground so as not to be cut. The cable can also be buried below the lawn surface. Lift off cover on the charging station and slide in the ends of the boundary wire in the lowermost holes on the charging station.
After fitting them into the connector, press the connector onto the metal pin on the charging station and refit the cover on the charging station.

STEP 3 Cutting heights and mower settings
To adjust the cutting height, open the lid of the Automower and turn the knob to the required position and close the lid.
On the top of the automower there is a control panel under a flap. All mower settings such as operating times, PIN code, movement patters etc, can be managed via the main and submenu functions. Complete menu functions can be found in the user manual that you can download from this site.

STEP 4 How the Automower works
The Automower automatically mows the lawn and continously combines mowing and charging.
Once charged, the mower reverses, turns around and leaves the charging station, normally in a randomly selected direction. It then goes about its work - cutting the grass up to and just over the boundary wire, coping with inclines and trimming closely around trees and shrubs.
Its irregular cutting pattern across the lawn makes for a very even finish - since the grass is cut from many different angles.

STEP 5 Automatic recharging
The Automower will recharge itself by docking into its charging station. This happens when the power levels of the battery becomes too low.
The charging station sends out a signal that the Automower can sense at a distance of between 6-8 meters. when the mower seeks out its charging station it reserves its power supply by ceasing to mow. It normally finds the charging station within a few minutes. |
